Seaside Sailor Sew-a-long: Introduction

Thanks for joining us on our very first Tie Dye Diva Sew-a-long!  What's a Sew-a-long, you say? We'll be sewing the Tie Dye Diva Seaside Sailor Dress Pattern (baby sizes 0-24 months or girl sizes 2-10 years) together, in little steps, all week long! We'll start on Monday and by Saturday you'll have a gorgeous dress.

We will also have a daily thread in the Tie Dye Diva Sewing Patterns Facebook Group for sharing photos and asking questions. If you're not yet a member, go to that link and click "Join Group" and an administrator will admit you. That is also where you'll hear about the awesome PRIZES we have planned for you! We have put together some amazing giveaways just for Sew-a-long participants and are excited to share them with you throughout the Sew-a-long!

The Seaside Sailor Dress patterns are available from Tie Dye Diva on Craftsy at a special 15% discount for the sew-a-long. (The Sailor Hat pattern and 18" Doll Sailor dress pattern are also on sale though they will not be covered in the sew-a-long; you'll find them also at the TDD Craftsy shop link.)

There is still plenty of time to grab your pattern and pick up some fabric.

The Seaside Sailor Dress pattern is beautiful both in nautical and non-nautical fabrics, so don't feel limited in your fabric choices. There are also several options for fabric placement. We'll talk more about that on Monday! Until then, here are a few beautiful photos I found!
