Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! {{CLOSED}}

{{{CLOSED - STAY TUNED TOMORROW FOR THE WINNER!}}}
http://www.sewmamasew.com/2013/12/are-you-ready-for-giveaway-day-4/

Yesss - it's Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day!

This year I'm giving away a bundle of 1 yard of this gorgeous out of print Sweet Flower Fairy fabric from Michael Miller and the winner's choice of any 1 of my more than 70 downloadable patterns for baby, children, adults and home at www.tiedyedivapatterns.com. I'll mail the fabric anywhere in the world; the pattern will be emailed in PDF format.

I love this fabric so much, I broke my no-repeat rule and used it on two pattern covers.

http://www.tiedyedivapatterns.com/product/ruffled-sunsuit-romper-pattern-for-girls-sizes-2-through-6-pdf-sewing-pattern http://www.tiedyedivapatterns.com/product/girls-dress-pattern-the-fairytale-handkerchief-hem-dress-pdf-sewing-pattern-1-to-5-years

What would you make with it? It would make a darling Perfect Party Dress for Girls.
Or collar and cuffs on the lovely Every Day Top

http://www.tiedyedivapatterns.com/product/long-sleeved-top-pattern-for-girls-peter-pan-collar-square-neck-more

No kids? No problem. Maybe a Reversible Sun Hat Pattern for Women?

Or any of the remaining 70+ patterns.

To enter to win the fabric and a free PDF sewing pattern, just leave a comment! Let me know who you are sewing for at the moment, or if you are a sewer-to-be. There are, of course, no non-sewers, only those whose inner sewer is begging to be let out. She probably has scissors and needles in there so don't keep her in too long. [Edited to add: get a second entry by liking on Facebook! Post in a second post that you've done so or already like TDD.]

Entries close December 13. Winner will be drawn randomly via Random.org and announced by December 14 here on the Tie Dye Diva blog. One entry will be counted per person, open worldwide.

Post your comment(s) below, leave a way for me to contact you, and check back on on December 14! If you can't stand the wait and want to immerse yourself in my patterns in the meantime, come join over 10000 Tie Dye Diva Patterns fans on Facebook at www.facebook.com/tiedyedivapatterns or in our interactive, fun and chatty Facebook group of more than 2500 members at https://www.facebook.com/groups/tiedyedivapatterns/ I hope to see you in both!

That is such pretty fabric. I would love to sew the hat : ) I have been sewing for about two year. The most amazing thing was that I went from being terrified of my sewing machine to absolutely loving it. I have an old Brother machine that's 50 years old and a Bernina from the 1970s. I use them all the time.

I sew for my daughter age 14, my 2 great nieces age 3 and age 8 and my great nephew age 1. And I love to sew and make accessories and quilted projects and lots of hand and machine embroidery items as well. I would love to win. This I the most beautiful fabric. It is so girly and romantic. I have been sewing since I was literally able to hold a needle in my hand and not take my eye out. I am talking before elementary school. So it is in my blood and in my soul. I never keep my inner sewist hidden for very long or she would probably poke mw with a seam ripper.

Judith said...

I sew for pretty much everybody who stands still long enough! And so far, no one objects. I'm taking advantage of it while it lasts, because it won't be too long before a couple of little girls who are so happy when I make them something won't be quite as thrilled. Fortunately, it's a pretty short phase, and then they'll be wanting "custom" items again. Thanks for the chance to win.

I've been sewing for a few years but I'm self taught so the going is slow. I sew mainly for my 4 year old granddaugter, Maddie. She "designs" her outfits and I sew them. We come up with some interesting things! I just love that she's interested enough in design and sewing and I want to encourage that! Her latest joy is ruffle pants and "freestyle" (I'm being kind) shirts so I know she will come up with something beautiful with this gorgeous fabric! She adores florals! She loves to have matching bows made (she has beautiful blonde hair to her bottom but she says she is cutting it this summer to give to "the little girls who need my hair because they don't have any") but I like that hat and wonder if I could persuade her to try a matching hat this time should we win!! Thank you for this opportunity! christyd8@bellsouth.net
