IKEA Cool

I made these a little while ago but realized I forgot to share! I've been enjoying them so much, they are the perfect touch for my room. Made from IKEA Fredrika fabric and this easy-peasy Envelope Pillow Cover tute from curbly.com, I was done in a matter of a couple of minutes and a couple of dollars.

Lately, I've been drooling like a 3-month old over gorgeous baby stuff so Bellaziza's Favorite Things has become a daily virtual stop for me. This week, they are giving away a Peg Perego carseat! PINK or BLUE on my mind

The cat is out of the bag ... I'm expecting! Yippee! So that is the reason for my mysterious "I am no longer dyeing and will tell you why later" message. Though the dyes I work with are not known to pose any danger to pregnant women, I'd just rather focus on my sewing for the time being. Thank you to Paula Burch for the link.

So, while my thoughts turn to missing Brie, my size 6 jeans, and my morning cup of coffee ... I am wondering to myself, pink or blue?

Hey Howdy Hey, I Am Looking Good!

Woody, Jessie and the Tie Dye Diva family hope you had a happy and safe Halloween.



These were fun costumes to put together. I sewed Jessie's chaps/jeans and Woody's vest from cowhide-print Velboa, and just used some yellow felt and a marker for Jessie's yoke. The rest was just cobbled together from real clothing and a couple of costume accessories. I made the vest without a pattern, using a well-fitting t-shirt for a guide to shoulder width and length, and edged it with bias tape for a no-hemming finish.
